SAWYER TREE SERVICE is a full service tree care company committed to its clients (YOU!) and their trees. The
Sawyer name means "The Cutter of Wood". The Sawyer family has been involved with tree work for over 4
generations. Located in Central Massachusetts to Northern Maine the roots of Sawyers tree business. The
Sawyer family's matriarch and patriarch Irene and Pete Sawyer, founded the family tree business in Ashland
Maine. Pete Sawyer was honored with national recognition at a ceremony held in Augusta, Maine acknowledging
his life-long commitment to conservation minded practices. He left into conservation large tracts of land in
protection for the publics quiet enjoyment in Northern Maine. He also founded the Logging Museum of Ashland,
Maine, established to educate and delight the public on the importance of trees in our lives.
Sawyer is located in Worcester County servicing our clients in the Central Massachusetts area for nearly 2
decades out of our Massachusetts based office.
